dust & sweat

Around here we are very busy getting ready for the upcoming weekend, which is our Fellowship Weekend ("Convivio"), and even more importantly, Easter. The church is looking forward to hosting people from the U.S., Magdalena, Barra Vieja, Morelia, San Jose, and Tecate and celebrating the resurrection of Christ together.

Most of the guests will arrive on Thursday afternoon and evening. Grant is in charge of transportation, so he has been busy coordinating routes and airport runs. Please pray for safety on the roads and in travels for all involved, especially the two brothers who will be driving a van to Barra Vieja.

This morning many of us gathered up at the lot where Marshall has his concrete block business to work on cleaning part of the building and the field out back to use for a Field Day on Friday. There have been people working on it for the past week or so, so a lot of the work was done - we were doing more of the final touches, like sweeping out the building, pulling weeds, setting up the volleyball net and soccer field, and just getting things in order. It was so fun to work together and get something accomplished!

And, what is a work day without a wheelbarrow race at the end?

Please pray for this weekend! We are looking forward to it, and pray that it will be a blessing to the church.
