our evening here

We are counting our blessings today and praying for those in Washington, IL.

I thought I'd share a little bit of our evening, mostly because Grant took a hilarious video of Ivory, which you can find at the end. This evening we had Bible study, like always on Tuesday nights, but they're trying something where it's women only, and then next week will be men only, and it will keep switching back and forth. There was such a good turn-out tonight, and it was an amazing time of sharing with sisters. We talked about Romans 12. Spiritual gifts seem to be a recurring theme for us these days, as that's what Grant had chosen to talk about last Wednesday during our Bible study in Zamora. Pray that the Ixtlan church could discover their spiritual gifts and use them for the glory of God! He is so good. Grant kept Ivory so I could go to the study, and the video below depicts some of their time spent together.

Roberto is taking an extra English class on Tuesday nights and so he had that this evening and right now he is here to finish his homework that we didn't get done earlier today.

Grant is working on putting a door on Ivory's room - not a moment too soon. He did a great job building it and the stain color turned out how we were wanting, so that is soooo good, since all the doors in the house are theoretically going to look the same.

And Ivory is escaping a nap because she gave me lots of cute smiles.
