when life is too good

You know how in life, sometimes things are just going a little too good and you start to get a little skeptical? That's how I felt about an hour ago. And now I see why. :)

Today's post was going to be about how we spent our first night/day in the new house, and how much we love it, and was going to be full of pictures. However, upon stepping foot in the house this evening after Bible study, none of the rooms are very photo-worthy, because they're all covered in water. So that post will have to wait until tomorrow.

There's no permanent damage and nothing too precious is beyond repair, so really it's just the inconvenience of having to clean everything up. And it's not sewer water (that already happened, before we moved in) so we have a LOT to be thankful for. Apparently some part on the toilet broke and water was running out for a long time... we filled the 16-gallon ShopVac a little over once. But now I don't have to mop tomorrow!

A few other items of interest:

1. Ivory has learned to sleep through the hammer drill. 
2. Today, Grant almost had a head-on collision. With a horse. Whose rider was texting.
