the backyard band

Someone recently made the comment that it looks like we haven't left the house for the past two weeks. Which is actually kind of true. The rain and the mess of stuff to unpack kind of demotivated us to do anything else. We did take a walk the other evening and visited some people from church - we enjoyed that.

But really, who needs to leave the house when you have this in your backyard...?

I present to you, the neighbor kids: Daniel (on the garden hose trumpet), Juan Pablo (on the plastic barrel drum), and Dulce (lead singer). Their selection for us today is "The Coco-No Song". (Video was taken with permission. It's blurry at first but it does focus in after a few seconds)

There are other exciting things, too - even inside the house. Ivory is learning to sit up on her own and is mostly eating oatmeal and rice cereal.

We are enjoying watching her grow and change - her new developments are so fun! Grant found her in the crib the other morning on all fours - she's going to be crawling before we know it!
