madrigal weekend | dec. 12-15

I have decided that 78 pictures (selected from many more than that) is too many for one blog post, so I'll cover our trip home in segments. We arrived on Thursday evening, Dec. 12 and my family picked us up at the airport. It was a busy weekend for Seth with Madrigals, but we enjoyed the time together and loved seeing him as king in their performance.

On the flight - first row of economy seats isn't too bad!
We spent the day with Brent & Janelle and boys during one of our first days back - Ivory enjoyed playing with Grey and Brooks! We are especially grateful to Leah and Addie, who babysat that evening so that we could go out to eat and actually have some time to talk!

We celebrated Addie's birthday with a special birthday breakfast and presents on Saturday morning.

She got a "moon chair" and Vera Bradley...
Ivory thought the chair was pretty neat, too!
Not a huge fan of her winter coat... or hat... but it kept her warm!
We thoroughly enjoyed Madrigal Dinners on Saturday evening. Ivory did not have quite as good of an evening as the rest of us - she was home and although the babysitter did a great job, Ivory was just a little unsure. Thanks, Haley, for all your work!

We found a little time to take Ivory sledding. She didn't actually enjoy it that much.

We enjoyed the snow while we were there - it was beautiful. But it sounds like its not so fun anymore... thinking of everyone in Illinois and praying you all stay safe!
