600 miles

We tracked nearly 600 miles on the road this past weekend, all over the Midwest! It was busy but wonderful, and this coming weekend isn't looking like it will be any different. Our calendar is filled with many opportunities to spend time with, and say good-bye to, our friends and family before we head south.

On Friday evening we headed to Fairbury for Prairie Central's graduation. Congratulations, Philip and Abe! Friday night we drove to Mahomet, and we spent Saturday helping my family get ready for Leah's graduation party. This included, but was not limited to, hanging ceiling fans, organizing Leah's library, and a very late-night scrapbooking session. We also went to Bloomington for testimonies on Saturday night - it was so neat to hear and see how God had worked in the lives of our friends!

Sunday was church and then Leah's graduation and graduation party. Congratulations, Leah! Leah is ISU-bound in the fall; we are fully in support of this decision! :)

We drove back home late Sunday night and on Monday, Adam & Brittany (and Kylie!) picked us up and we headed to Iowa to meet Kyle & Heather and Kory & Brooke at Geode State Park. We thoroughly enjoyed the day - picnic lunch, rugged bike trails, wading in the lake, seeing Kory & Brooke's cute little house, and just spending time together.
